Sunday night, July 18, a number of friends who also happen to be great musicians will be playing at the Beachland Ballroom.
Craig Ramsey, and Cellar Door Records family member Joshua Jesty will be bringing their rediculously catchy pop tunes to the Ballroom at 9:00 pm.
In the Tavern, Cellar Door Records family members and post-rock newcomers Monolith at Tycho will be playing with The Modern Electric in the Tavern at 8:00 pm. Monolith played the Cellar Door Records showcase at the Grog Shop in January and just brought the house down. I’ve seen the The Modern Electric evolve since they were kids and it it’s incredible how good they’ve gotten.
Seriously, these are some of my favorite local bands. If you’re not doing anything on a Sunday night, which you’re probably not. I highly suggest spending $10 and experiencing some great music.
UPDATE: Get in to the Craig Ramsey/Joshua Jesty show FREE with your ticket to the Lonliest Monk/Monolith/Modern Electric show! $6!
